On Thursday 23 May 2024, Condé Nast Traveller will host A Taste of Louis Roederer. One of the last great family-owned Champagne houses, Louis Roederer is a leader in organic and biodynamic farming. The house’s Alexis Deligny will be coming over from France to guide guests through a carefully curated selection of Champagnes. The event will take place at MiMi Mei Fair in Mayfair, a discreet dining experience that references old-world China while paying homage to the country’s cultural eclecticism. Situated in a three-storey Georgian townhouse on Curzon Street, the restaurant is a reimagining of a Chinese private residence. Its resplendent Chinoiserie interiors draw inspiration from across the decades, from ancient folklore to Beijing’s Forbidden City palace and 1920s Shanghai.

On the night, guests will enjoy a signature tasting menu of authentic and innovative Chinese dishes paired with a carefully curated line-up of the finest Louis Roederer Champagnes. The combination of this food – which is inspired by fictional empress MiMi’s travels across Hong Kong, Singapore and mainland China – and the Louis Roederer selection will make for an unforgettable culinary journey.
